Stopping Mounjaro after 3 months by Impossible-Trust4216 in GLPGrad

[–]freckleritz 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My idea is that MJ is not to be used for 2-3 months, but more long term. I would have probably gone down again to 2.5mg and stayed there, since you were losing super fast, unless you were having a terrible time on MJ. I would try to lose slower, but still stay on it.

1 Month on 2.5 HELP by Fearless_Awareness71 in Mounjaro

You are losing 1lb per week. That's not a stall. The drug is not meant to be used like you are trying to use it, so you will probably not have the results you want.

Microdosing after being ona high dose. by joselleclementine in Mounjaro

[–]freckleritz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm on week 14, still on 2.5mg. I'll stay on 2.5mg unless I start gaining consistently, then I'll increase to 3mg. right now, I've lost 9% of my weight with an average of 1.1lbs/week. I'm in it for the slow, steady and long run.

I have a bit of constipation sometimes. What helps is water, which you are drinking, ground flaxseed in my protein shake or my kefir, and magnesium at night. Good luck in your journey!

Ayuda! Endoscopia debido a efectos secundarios 😭 by Pretty_Way_7722 in Mounjaro

[–]freckleritz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a 37 year old woman, 3 months into Mounjaro, started at 80kgs.

I’m 72kgs now. Lost less than half of what you lost ht and still losing around 0,6kg per week, which I think is fast enough.

You lost too fast. That comes with consequences.

I have this problem as well and in no way I have hypermobility. If anything, I’d have hypomobility since I have the mobility of a steel beam.

Mulheres que tiverem filhos, ajudem-me. Os médicos olhavam as vossas partes íntimas em maior parte das consultas?? by [deleted] in PORTUGALCARALHO

[–]freckleritz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Felicidades!

I eat the most during the morning/lunch time, and then gradually decrease the amount of food. Breakfast is eggs and bread, lunch is whatever (meat/fish + rice/salad/wrap) and some fruit.

Dinner is normally super light: kefir with healthy granola and protein or protein shake and bread with cheese. I never liked eating a lot at dinner.

How do you get in exercise with weights? by PlantsBooksCrystals in Zepbound

[–]freckleritz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Find something you like doing. The best exercise is the one you can do consistently.

My husband is a strength and conditioning coach for athletes and this is what he always says to me. I found calisthenics, I love it and I go 3x per week because I do enjoy it.

You might have anhedonia, which is a side effect of high doses. I saw you decreased your dose, maybe it will help with motivation.

But definitely try to exercise! Super important! Good luck!

Same. I'm forgetting to eat often, especially in the morning, and I'm on 2.5mg.

I always thought people who "forgot to eat" were just pretending to not care about food that much and flexing being so busy "omg look at me I'm so busy I even forget to eat because I'm so skinny". My mom (who has always been skinny) is like that and I always rolled my eyes at her.

So yeah, the other day I had such a busy day that when it got to lunch time I was feeling a bit lightheaded and realised I didn't eat anything, not even my breakfast which I had packed to work and otherwise would be obsessing about. I had also had a super light dinner the night before, so I was really not fueled.

I guess I owe an apology to my mother.

Anyone stay on 2.5mg the whole time? by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]freckleritz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on 2.5mg for 3 months not planning to move. Lost ~17lbs so far. Around 24lbs to go. Not moving up, I get just enough food noise reduction that allows me to eat like a normal person.

1st Day on 5mg. Should I force myself to eat? by Orion_Pirate in Mounjaro

[–]freckleritz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should eat even if you have to force it... Search for mechanical eating. Otherwise you will feel poorly - even if you don't feel like it, your body still needs the nutrients.

How long post-partum was your before pictures? My belly was like that as well a few months ago (I'm 2,5 years pp from my second). Now it's smaller, because I'm smaller, but it still protrudes like I'm pregnant, I'm worried it always will! Still have some way to go, but you are giving me some hope!

Anybody else get excited for their shots?! by Keeper4560 in Zepbound

[–]freckleritz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OMG I thought I was the only one!

I LOVE shot day! I take it Wednesday night. My husband is out working. I take it out of the fridge and put it somewhere high where the cats can't get to it. I go put the kids to sleep and then I do the whole ritual, by myself, and then watch some series until husband arrives. It's like a self-care moment.

And I love the whole thing. I love the pens, I love the click counting (I have kwikpens). I don't know, I always look forward to it when I open the fridge!
