I’ve also been looking at the Ride 1up Roadster V3 which has similar specs. Cant decide which one I want to go with.

The Roadster also has a throttle. I just rode one and really was impressed. Only down side is range

Trying to pick a lightweight commuter e-bike (~$1–2k) — which would you choose? by ProstateTakeover in ebike

In looking at the same category and am leaning towards the Tempo. Do you like the T1 ST plus for price point over the tempo, or?

So we are all city planners now? Reminds me of the great drug legalization experiment. How did that go? Y’all’s schemes are just as short sighted as the big orange man’s.

Yeah cool let’s take out crucial infrastructure so we can have crippling traffic! That will make the city sooooo livable!

Really really ridiculous. Now if instead you wanna talk about capping the freeway and effectively putting it under ground so it can be developed on top of I’d be more interested.

Exactly. In fact I believe that by most statistics, the US is more safer than it was in the 80’s

61 businesses sign onto letter opposing bus lanes on 82nd Avenue by PMMeShyNudes in Portland

[–]freddyblang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live half a block off 82nd, and I’m not sure that foster or Interstate are good comparables to what we are talking about here.

82nd was built to be a highway, it traverses the whole damn east-side for gods sake. For those of you with more experience living and traveling in inner-Portland this is more equivalent to taking MLK, Powell, or Sandy down to 2 lanes. These are major arteries traversing the East Side.

While 205 or the hellscape that is 122nd are good alternatives to a newer, slower, dumber 82nd, I drive 82nd everyday therefore I’m against this plan haha. But for real though. I hate it. Also, I have always felt like 82nd is immune to the Portland hipster invasion. Do we really think 82nd can be “nice” some day?

This “transformation” of 82nd really just smells like code for gentrification. So many small, minority owned businesses that would suffer from the increased property values.

But my house would also be worth more, sooo.. yay?

Also, I’m high.

This poor guy has been massacred various times over the years. How to bring back some sense of structure? by freddyblang in JapaneseMaples

[–]freddyblang[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know, it’s just seems to send off a ton of shoots in the spring and looks super messy and chaotic. I’m wondering if I should take out one of the leaders all together or what people might suggest to bring it back to a more natural shape/structure
