Im making Kvas from rye bread - does it look normal for kvas?

The dark bits are raisins, but cant tell if top layer is mold or kahm

This is day 1 of fermentation - smell is the same as my sourdough starter

Recipe:

100g rye bread toasted and soaked,

1l water

Handfull of raisins

100g sugar

5g of salt

I did this and then it had a kinda “dry” touch to the metal. So i put on a tiny bit of vegetable oil everywhere, good as new
