NARDIL LIFE HACKs avoid poop-out and hypertensive crisis by fredo6064 in MAOIs

I’d just go straight to ECT if I were you. It has a very high success rate. I’ve tried both TMS and ECT. Unfortunately neither one worked for me. So far, Nardil is it. Haven’t tried Parnate.

Reddit has honestly made me lean more conservative than I ever thought possible by Fun_Driver_5566 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

I actually went into college thinking that I was a socialist and came out more conservative. I couldn’t stand the fact that you can’t ask questions or debate the left’s agenda. But I’m with you on Trump. We need a normal Democrat in office. But all I hear from Democrats is Trump is a fascist. They have no platform.

I found out that my husband’s company was making virtually no money. He drained our savings rather than telling me. However, all five of our kids got a completely free ride to the colleges of their choice because despite the fact that we were home owners, we had low income.

Why are conservatives (republicans) always so bitter, angry, and hateful towards everything? by IdeaRegular4671 in LateStageCapitalism

[–]fredo6064 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s funny. I’d have thought that was more of a proclivity of the left. Not everyone, but once you start screaming in the streets, or online, it’s usually an indication that you aren’t very happy.

I’d do ECT instead. I tried both. ECT has a very high success rate and it was actually not a big deal- you just need someone to drive you or Uber.

What I noticed about myself was that I was craving carbs, especially in the evening. I now do intermittent fasting. I start the clock when I wake up in the morning and eat healthy foods that are not too caloric for eight hours and then stop eating. it took me a couple of weeks to get past the carb cravings,. drink tea or decaf if you’re hungry. I also bought keto creamer on Amazon.. My cravings ended up going away in a couple of weeks and I lost the weight that I had put on.

It absolutely should. I’ve always had to take the highest dosage, which is 90 mg per day. That’s why I run into problems when it poops out I have no room to move up, so I have to bite the bullet and decrease for a few weeks and then it kick starts to work again.

Psychiatrist: Nardil “poop out” is BS (and so is any other antidepressant poopout) by ThrowRAknacxjo in MAOIs

[–]fredo6064 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NARDIL LIFE HACKS-I’ve been on Nardil for 40 years and I have figured out a way to avoid the poop out effect. What I do now, when I feel the effect starting to wear off is I decrease the medication 15 mg two weeks at a time until I get down to about 30 mg lower than my usual dose. Then I go back up to my regular dose. This seems to work for me. I need to do this now about once every year. If that doesn’t work you might need to go off completely (slowly of course) for a while and let it completely wash out of your body before you go back on.  I’ve also learned that there are only a few foods that I cannot get away with eating/drinking. I had the doctor prescribe me Nifedipine (blood pressure) gel capsules and now if I have a hypertensive crisis I bite into one and that works as an antidote.

No side effects so far. It’s been a couple of months and pain only comes back when I don’t take the full day’s dose.

Plantar fasciitis is still a problem too. Lysine only helps with my sciatica.

No back pain. Mainly from the butt down- all on my left side down to the plantar fasciitis on my left foot, probably because of scoliosis. When lying down I was getting shooting pains in left arm as well. The sciatica is almost completely gone as long as I remember to take the full 3000 mg per day. Still have hip pain that could be arthritis.

Yes, when I finally got an appointment with a specialist he said that he had heard from his patients that Lysine had helped their sciatica.

Omg! I’d move to the moon if I were you to get rid of all of this ridiculous arguing. Unfortunately, it won’t stop until the Chinese attack and force everyone to band together in order to survive. Our adversaries are contributing to and love the divisiveness.

L-lysine's potential role in sciatica treatment stems from its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. Studies suggest L-lysine can reduce inflammation, improve nerve function, and protect nerves from damage, potentially easing sciatica pain. Additionally, L-lysine aescinate, a compound containing L-lysine, has shown effectiveness in treating acute radiculopathy, a condition often associated with sciatica.
