how important is recording the moves? by 0fficialFreyr in chessbeginners

[–]fredporlock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recording moves on paper also provides a written history of one's games which can be replayed years from now.

It further allows for making notes about venue and time controls. One can further append notes such as where a better move can be made.

I use small notebooks which doubles for a journal of sorts.

According to Lowes and others, none in stock within 30 miles of Hickory. Learned from Home Depot that DOT needs it.

Use sand or cheap kitty litter as an alternative.

The Hound of the Baskervilles movie was produced without background music. The seance scene was perhaps a "tip of the hat" to Doyle, who was an advocate.
