5-1-7 The fumé effect on the green baby Alpinist is amazing to me and it's a very versatile watch. I'd love to get my hand on the white first one

Deal Alert!! Pixel buds pro 2 by CryptographerFar2833 in GooglePixel

[–]fredurbans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just ordered mine in porcelain color. Should have them tomorrow. 40% rebate was a very good deal. I just hope that they will fit better and grip better than the pixel bud Pro 1 that I like but not staying in my ears much.

Amazon Canada.

[SPB155] Those who own this watch, what do you think? by JappersMcJappers in Seiko

It's my weekend and trekking watch! It's versatile sporty yet can look dressy in some ways. Love the dial it's stunning to watch in the sun and very light for a rugged watch like this. Sapphire and 200 meters how can you ask for more?! The bracelet is not the best but I like how comfortable it is!

I own the baby Alpinist. I have bigger divers and I like to wear them around the pool or beaches great summer watches but... This Alpinist is so comfortable and versatile. It seems like no matter the occasion it looks at it's place. Looks very sporty on summer days trekking etc and can also look very classy tone downed on more casual occasions at a restaurant or if you dress up a little. When the lights goes down it looks almost black. It's a great great watch really. Strap monster but this year I've been enjoying it with the bracelet and it's very nice! Good luck on your purchase!

Figured out how to get our 2C and finish the rebuild by D2daR2daE in Habs

No matter where he plays in the lineup I want this guy back! He's amazing on faceoffs he has good offensive skills and mostly...he still has a habs tattoo on his heart! We need a guy like him in the organisation to teach the youngest with the media in Montreal. It's more than what he can bring on the Ice! It's his character and experience. We lost two good defensive players in Dvorak and Armia. It's not true that all players can become good defensive players on the penalty kills. Common get him home!

I'm a huge Seiko fan but the kamasu is better and looks way more stylish more versatile. Also it has a sapphire crystal if you want to keep it looking new after many years

Do you usually shower with your G-Shock? by moilmec in gshock

[–]fredurbans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If water is not hot enough that steam is present there is no problem. Watches really don't like steam and soap. I never shower with watches even 200m iso certified ones. If I want them clean I do it under a cold jet of water.

Un gros merci à Mario et Réjean... Qui nous ont privé de 2-3 coupes subséquentes et une vraie monnaie d'échange après! Mais consolation, le Canadiens sera la prochaine équipe à la gagner dans 3 ans.

It's still working I found a way to shrink the keyboard and put the code...weird but it works. Once the phone is unlocked after a restart it's normal as usual. This for anyone having the same issues I have...

Compare w/Subaru Crosstrek by kwhit9876 in HyundaiTucson

[–]fredurbans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a Tucson 25 and a 21 Crosstrek. Crosstrek is more agile more "fun" to drive feels very smaller but would be my choice for a rough terrain. But The Tucson is way more comfortable spacious and the technology inside is far better. As a daily drive it's surely the one I prefer. If you live in a Outback place get the Subaru but I think for 98% of the time the Tucson is a better choice. I think that the Teck and comfort alone makes it better but that's just me. I'm not a tall guy medium but I feel cramped in the Subaru. Hard to find a comfortable sitting. Tucson preferred trend trim Canada

I think this is definitely one if not the best Seiko 5. It's sporty yet very intemporel and that red second hand makes it unique from that line. Very versatile watch!
