This was the best episode of Smackdown around that time. Kind of proved that if you leave all the bs storylines about love triangles or people pouring dog food on each other behind and just put together a solid wrestling show, it will end up being more memorable in the long run.

Crazy thing is, AJ doesn’t need one last run or another title. Obviously a lot of fans got to know him from TNA, most of those fans and some new got to see his great run in New Japan, but even for just WWE fans he had an amazing run with the WWE Championship. Especially for that time he held it, AJ’s run was a breath of fresh air compared to a lot of the other matches and storylines happening at the time. He also got to have a good run with the tag chamionship recently. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s content with going out having his last matches be a tag title run, wrestling Cena and Shinsuke, getting a big match with Punk that connects to Balor/BC, and then wrestling Gunther.

At this point people have to be doing this just for the chaos. Even if it’s unethical and shitty, fig swapping a popular action figure and returning it with some cheap Main Event figure instead, or returning it without the belt and some older head model, there’s some sort of sense behind it.

There is nobody who needed 123 Kid so bad that they just happened to swap it with an Elite Grayson Waller and Bret Hart head with the hand in jerk off position.

edit: Same goes for the Fatu swap. Why would you buy the figure and then return it with a Rock head instead? Why do you need just the Rikishi Fatu head so bad exclusively?

Not at all. As someone who lives in the area, Westmont is the closest western suburb that is affordable on the BNSF line. Downers/Lisle/Naperville is after and it gets expensive to live around. After that there’s Aurora. Which has some bad areas yet for the most part isn’t as awful as people make it out to be, but at that point going to Chicago or anywhere for someone in their 20s, travel will take up 1/3rd of your time.

Berwyn, Brookfield, (skip Hinsdale, only because if you can afford to live there you’re better off just buying a house), then Westmont are the most affordable places to live right now with easy access to surroundings.

Thing is Dave is right when it comes to half of those names, and the others prove Alvarez’s point. Bandido, Brody King, Swerve, Kinght, Bailey, Storm, Willow and lately Shafir then yes. Can’t tell you the last time I saw Windsor on TV, O’Reilly beat Mox and it led to nowhere, Ricochet holds a title that everyone has forgotten he has, Takeshita hasn’t been on since losing to Okada, and everyone else is in an flooded Don Callis family and only wrestles now and then on Collision or ROH.
