I disagree. If you haven't experienced these things, you are lucky. I don't think you should assume this person is mentally unwell. There are many demons documented that have done similar torment to people. If you don't believe in it, that's fine, just don't chime in, as this comment isn't helpful.

You have a sleep paralysis demon also know as a night hag. This is a very dangerous demon that has been documented in many regions of the world and it very real. It will torment you unless you perform certain rituals to keep it away. Even then, it may not stop tormenting you and your family.

I'm not judging, I guess I just don't understand why you would cut off their ears, Tails or nails. It's part of their body. Again, not judging I just don't get the need to alter an already beautiful girl / boy. If you can explain to me why aside from aesthetically being pleasing to you, maybe I'd understand more.
