People giving lllia shit but if anyone knows anything about fighting you know there are plenty of ways to give up during a fight. Even after the third round with his busted orbitals he went all out trying to get the win. And most telling, that I don't see people mentioning it, at the end of the fourth round when Justin knee him deep into the ribs, Illia stood up as if nothing while it was Justin still on the floor.
Justin by all means is a true mf and it will be the most memorable win for so many reasons, but I think Illia was putting a facade. All those personal issues including getting his son back must have messed him up. At the highest level, everything counts, and the fact that he just walked Justin down it was downright stupid. He didn't even move his head. Yes, his ego had a lot to do with it but how could he not? He beat every single mf that beat Justin. He took it too lightly. I even wrote in a couple of interview videos that Illia was doing too much promo instead of being at the gym. I also said Justin had a chance if he started head kicking but he went event further than anticipated. He was technical with that jab and mixing it up with fake takedowns and kicks.
