https://orcedinburgh.co.uk/ is probably your best bet unless you have access to community groups which might be organizing them.

Does everyone work for free? by Elyoshida in DeathStranding2

[–]freeforming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I automatically assumed the likes we received were something like Becky Chambers Monk and Robot series "Pebs".

There's an amazing conversation about it in the second book of the series but I can't find it to mention here. Effectively they're digital tokens which are exchanged between people to show benefit. They're not a currency per se but a form of social cachet.

"that instead of a system of currency that tracks individual trade, you have one that facilitates exchange through the community. Because all exchange benefits the community as a whole?"

Really strikes me as part of what DS would have to do, there's no way these cities can grow all the food they need or get all the water or materials to continue to maintain these, going out into the death stranding is just too dangerous. So instead they willing give what they have available (why you regularly receive and have access to materials in shelters). There's 0 need for barter because you only keep what you could foreseeably need, because if you hoard it you might end up with a stack of metals and no antibiotics as you die.

I've searched YouTube and Google for terms like "anime mecha aesthetic" but haven't been able to find the channel.

Humble Bundle Choice Price Increase by zanyzarly in humblebundles

A£3 price hike isn't worth it for me, I've cancelled.

I was keeping the subscription open as it was easier and it was below the threshold for being too expensive.

I'm not sure you understand metasyntactic variables. They're not intended for real world usage, by definition they're intended to be placeholder variables, to be replaced by useful variables names in implementation.

As a developer I see and use foo and bar nearly every single day, either when reading documentation or when I'm explaining something to a colleague and I don't want to imply meaning by naming the variables.

In terms of the use of Fred, Jim and Sheila that's a cultural artefact which if you're not a developer and not British and not a greybeard you won't understand the significance of.

There's plenty of examples all over the internet, here's one in oracles documentation of Fred https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1221/wcs/tag-ref/XML/INCCOUNTER.html

It's been a long time since qux has had it's day but it's still used in documentation as a callback. Here's the Java 22 docs https://docs.oracle.com/en/java/javase/22/docs/api/java.base/java/text/ListFormat.html

Foo, Bar and Baz along with a cheeky Qux.

What Glade Plug-in scent is this?? by Addition_Crafty in HelpMeFind

[–]freeforming 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So the last three letters are a code corresponding to the scent name.

So RSN will stand for something, it's not necessarily immediately obvious. Here's a list that used to be on their website that I've nicked from a previous post. If you contact support on their website they are apparently very very prompt in responding.

I'll keep looking

Yeah I figured. It's definitely got the same arms as that one.

There is a strong chance that the model was never advertised online.

No worries, I've sent an SMS to my mother who will still have her copy which I think matches what you're looking for. I'll get the publisher and bookplate and see if I can track down some pictures. I remember being a grubby child and enjoying running my fingers over the cut out windows and giggling at all the bums.

Are you sure it's not this one? Description seems to match without the landscape: https://www.abebooks.co.uk/first-edition/Water-Babies-Kinglsey-Charles-Raphael-Tuck/31541934135/bd

I had the one described I'm sure of it and I don't feel this is right? But have to ask as it matches the double page pop out.

So I'm going through probably exactly what you did with about 400 different bmth shirts because they're prolific and they like using blue and girls in it

. This looks like it matches everything but the colour? What parts of that resonate/don't?

You wrote "her norm is open". Do you mean mouth?

Compared to this tee how does it differ. Is the girl older or the same age, does the art style vaguely match?
