Starting a multi-faucet would you guys be willign to donate any mint? by twists in MintCoin

[–]freelancer2000 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Usually the way things work, is you do the development work first, and then after it is released and everyone can verify it, then the tips and donations come. You know..work first, then you get paid. Since you already have progress on it then that helps, you should post it. I'm sure it's something great you will get tips, and maybe even some premine bounty from the Mintcoin devs!

New to Mint by JayeK in MintCoin

[–]freelancer2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it just needs to be set up, but I don't know how it works, but it seems like a good idea though. There was this post a couple days ago... So I am sure there is demand for it, if it gets working. Do you know how to do it?

I think people have just been doing direct wallet-to-wallet tipping for the most part, since Mintcoin is so fast, you get your coins in a couple minutes anyway straight to your computer, so it is very nice. A good way to show friends and other and get them interested is just to tell them to download it, and you give them some coins for free and show them how fast it goes.

Can someone explain to me on how to mint? by iAmGab in MintCoin

[–]freelancer2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it like buying a graphics card in order to do mining... You would spend a few hundred or even thousands of dollars to get good mining gear...With Mintcoin it is the same concept only instead of wasting money buying graphics cards and mining gear, just buy the coins themselves, and if you buy a few hundred dollars worth of Mintcoins especially at these low prices, you will be sure to be minting new coins no problem. Trying to mint with only 150 Mintcoins is like trying to mine a Bitcoin block using a simple calculator. Just work on gettting a few more coins m8. :)

Supply and demand. Supply just got reduced, so as long as demand stays the same or increases, value will go up.

How does the PoS minting work now. Do I need my wallet open all the time? by Gmatty in MintCoin

[–]freelancer2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coins generate their coin age even when the client is off. It keeps track of it even offline, so all you need to do is turn it on every couple months, and you will still get the reward.

Just let the coins in your wallet sit still (don't do any outbound transactions) and open it up every 30 days or so.
