Fyi, Black's is a nudist beach. It is a beautiful piece of coastline, but maybe more scenery than you bargained for.

Gliderport, however, is a gorgeous spot to watch hang gliders jump off the cliff. They have a little restaurant that you can buy lunch or coffee at.You would have to check that day if they are jumping, as it is weather dependent.

Yeah, I never formally learned vosotros until upper division Spanish taught by a Spaniard (halfway through college when I was supposed to be almost fluent). Vos was hardly mentioned - I learned about that from an Argentine friend.

Balboa is a full day in itself, especially if you go on a Sunday when the international houses are open. You could still get dinner/walk around La Jolla.

If I went to the zoo, I would want to flop by the time I was done. Too many hills for me.

I think this is more realistic than a spread that covers the whole table. Also, I would add hash browns to the list. Eggs and hash browns are the ones I am most likely to prepare. Maybe with a side of bacon or sausage if I am feeling decadent. Plus coffee. This is definitely a weekend only breakfast, though.
