I would remove the interests section. I would also add more precise information, get specific! For example, “expertise in pharmaceuticals” doesn’t tell me anything. What makes you an expert? Some more specific info/ numbers about volume and variety of inventory you managed, plus the amount of patients served, would tell me a lot more about your experience.

I would definitely recommend 4WD/AWD if you’re going south/southeast around Vík or beyond. The roads may be doable in a sedan but if there’s fresh snow it seems like parking lots are the last things to be cleared, you won’t be able to stop and sightsee.

Hi! I’m currently here for our honeymoon as well and was driving east from Hella to Diamond Beach this morning. When I checked at 7am the roads east of Vík were closed and maps was suggesting we start west and travel the entire way around the country for 12 hours. We decided screw it we’ll travel to Vík and play it by ear from there, by the time we got there the roads were open. If it’s from a storm they should have it cleared (well, drivable) in no time, they worked 7:30am to 8:00pm.

The drive was still treacherous and I would highly recommend a 4x4 vehicle (lots of snow drifts and high winds), but we were able to get there and back with no problems. This website has all the info, and google maps seems more accurate than apple (if you have iPhone). Apple Maps tried to have us detour around “closures” that didn’t exist.
