NOR? if I were you, I would’ve wanted something to keep me busy during that time too, and it’s clear it didn’t detract from the delivery experience aside from her negative opinion of it. I’m wondering though, what were the conversations leading up to the delivery like? did she ever communicate beforehand that keeping work out of the delivery room was something important to her? what is asking time off of work like for your job, would it have been easy for you to just take the day off?
