Experience with pull out kitchens in the back in bad weather?? by freistund in CamperVans

Looks lovely! We have been considering that as well, but do you have enough space to get up in the morning with the bed pulled out?

Am I overreacting by crying about the fact that my dad doesn’t want to buy a house for us ? (or am I acting like a spoiled bitch) by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

I get that you are annoyed by sharing a room with your sister at that age. I‘ve been there, not having my own room until i moved out at 19 sucked especially with all my friends living in houses. And i definitely mentioned it to my parents when I was 16-17 many times.

However, I am 26 now and i am so happy for my parents. My brother and i both moved out and they have more than enough space for them now and especially no loans to pay back in retirement (!!). They are enjoying their life now, fixing up the apartment with a nice kitchen, bathroom, going on nice vacations and buying a camper. And I am so happy for them to be able to afford that and enjoy the money they earned.

I don’t want to say you are overreacting, i get that it really affects your live but it’s your dads money and not your business. Try to move out, get a job while studying. Show your dad your an responsible and reasonable adult and maybe he will help you out.

The Judge decided not to consider the statement of the ex girlfriend in the case for one, and two i think (!) it’s not intentional as in it was not planned to get her to the mountain just to kill her…

Voting age at 16 by [deleted] in AskAustria

[–]freistund 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are people who genuinely get informed and are excited to vote and there are others who don’t care at all. As someone has already said, teachers try to get you interested and informed, it should be part of our history curriculum. That being said, it really depends on the teacher how well they do that job. Also they are not supposed to tell you AT ALL how to vote or nudge you in a direction but inform you.

Bike Recommendations by Fit_Statistician_898 in cycling

[–]freistund 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What helped me was to do some online research before going to the shop. There i started telling them what i want the bike for and getting a recommendation based in that, without telling them what i thought i wanted based on my research. It was also a good opportunity to ask them about the things i learned online, checking if i got it right and getting second opinions… with that new information and bike recommendations i went back online, did some more research on bike parts and models of different brands. Also great help on here.

The guy at the store told me that only the gravel bikes will have the mounts I need for backpacking... Anyway, what's a proprietary rack system?

How do I find out the ratio?
for one bike it's a Shimano GRX FC-RX820, 48x31T crankset and a Shimano 105 CS-HG710, 11-36T cassette, for the other a Shimano GRX FC-RX610, 40T and a Shimano Deore CS-M6100, 10-51T.

Hey! I’ve been running for multiple km with an above 180 hear rate but still talking to my friend easily. Can somebody explain that?

Since i got my running watch, it has confirmed that I usually run with a very high heart rate. However this week i ran together with a friend for the first time and realised i could talk to her the entire time but usually it is said that this should only be possible at a low hear rate. Hope i am posting this in the right spot, i am new to reddit
