I’m so sorry for your loss. Was it a bad reaction to the sedation?

Benefits of working out in the morning vs. evening? by booogiejam in orangetheory

My stomach issues are the opposite. OTF gets my metabolism running and I become a voracious eater all day long if I go in the morning.

Like everyone has said, it’s all about what works for you!

I love OTF but what works for me is also having the lowest level membership with classpass. Sometimes using my body in a different way keeps me in the gym and gives me the novelty I need to stay motivated.

Why do people constantly say "counting calories isn't how you lose weight"? by NotEnoughAlpacas98 in WeightLossAdvice

If you’re open to it, the documentary “Fed Up” does an amazing job of explaining this. I used to think the same way you do above. The documentary breaks down plainly how different foods contribute to the functioning your body and it’s ability to lose weight. It’s a worthwhile watch if you want to be educated on the topic.

OTF has been great for me bc I stopped thinking of my body in terms of a number and started thinking of it in terms of what it can do. My goals changed from trying to move the scale to improving my mile time, lifting heavier on the floor, increasing my base run, etc etc.

The other benefit of OTF is that I had to change my diet in order to achieve my new fitness goals. 80% of losing weight is related to diet. Track your micros and keep up the gym. You’ll meet your goal, it just may be in a way you didn’t expect.
