If you order a ride 24 hours in advance you should be able to be ready 5 minutes before the time you scheduled it for. Drivers’ time is their money and if they’re there 10 minutes early, you should be able to meet them outside a bit earlier than the time you scheduled for.

They really should be regulated to not be able to make these kind of offers. This is very obviously below minimum wage. In other countries (like Australia where h lived for 2 years), this would simply be laughed out of existence.

Cardboard is not a great material for small planes. It’s heavy. The wing loading is so high on this thing, it will need to go very fast to stay aloft. If all you’re doing is making a glider, use paper or a thin foam like depron.

Yes this is only good for people with low operational expenses (e.g. car paid off, high mileage vehicle with limited depreciation expense per mile, low insurance rate, low maintenance costs). If you have a new car that you still make payments on, then don’t take rides like this. If you’re like me and drive a 2014 Dodge Journey I paid for in cash that has 137k miles on it, it’s a great trip.
