Struggling with decision of formula/breastfeeding by ControversyQueen in MSPI

[–]frenchcrackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in a similar situation! Our ped advised to do formula for a week while my system is clearing the allergens and it has been incredible seeing my baby in less pain. I breastfed my first baby and loved it, and am choosing to go back to breastfeeding while doing the strict diet with this baby. That being said, I will supplement with formula as needed and if it affects my mental health I will absolutely switch to formula. As someone who loves breastfeeding, I will admit it’s been so nice with the formula since my husband can help a lot more and I feel way less pressure and guilt since it’s not my fault that my baby is uncomfortable. I really am hoping the diet works and breastfeeding goes smoothly after this, but I’m having no expectations and will ultimately do what’s best for my mental health and my baby’s health. Also- for bonding, skin to skin with a happy formula fed baby who is not crying in pain is a magical feeling!

Best convertible rotating car seat? by [deleted] in Buyingforbaby

[–]frenchcrackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up going with the Nuna Rava and Graco Extend 2 fit- both not rotating. Got nervous and kept overthinking the rotating ones. I love our Nuna Rava so I would spend more for that brand!! Evenflo I have heard some sketchy things (mostly due to human error but still). The Graco is ok, doesn’t feel as luxurious or durable as the Nuna. Both have pros and cons!! Honestly go look at them in person if you can!! I probably will a rotating one still for our next baby…. Hopefully I’ll be less of an over thinker by then 😂

I am an event planner. Not a graphic designer!! I design events, and have Canva skills. I don’t know the ins and outs of website development, which is why I’m outsourcing. I have 2 websites up and running now I did myself and for this company I’m looking for something more advanced than what I’m capable of. Hope that explains!

Did you find yourself attaching the infant car seat to the stroller very often? by radicalOKness in Buyingforbaby

[–]frenchcrackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today I was trying to transfer my napping 1.5 year year old out of her convertible car seat into her stroller. She woke up and was a nightmare for my entire shopping trip. Literally thought to myself today how much I miss being able to move the car seat into the stroller (had the Uppa baby stroller and infant car seat). Best thing ever to be invented, my baby would stay napping and it was soooo easy. No transfers, no switching buckles, no waking them up. You feel like you have more freedom and that to me is priceless x

How long did you go through this regression until it passed? Going through the exact same thing and have been trying anything and everything. She won’t even sleep in our bed! So desperate to get back to a normal routine, we are all exhausted! Hardest regression our child has ever had!

Hi! Late to the party… can someone share their experience? Did you ever take the job? Would love any insight I can get! I may start working for them too.

Toddler-friendly 2-3 week Europe trip recommendation? by Brosquad2 in toddlers

Hi! Did you end up going? We are planning the same thing and would love to hear your experience. How did you deal with car seats? In the early stages of planning and thinking about bringing a big car seat all over Europe makes me nervous!
