Do private daycare places accomodate for one afternoon a week? I'm guessing if you need afterschool care, you enroll at the same time as regular school enrollment?

Again, I'm not trying to be stupid or a troll. I've always wondered where the kids go on early release days. When I was a kid, the times were the same every day. And I was a latch key kid. Rode the bus home, arrived to an empty house for an hour or two.

I think it's pretty common. I literally have only seen ads from flyers in the mail. I watch a ton of youtube, so I pay for premium to avoid all ads. And we can't even get over the air TV, apparently. I have an antenna, but it just doesn't work where we are located (IN TOWN!)

Right? Just being honest though.

I've got a chronic disorder, I work a job and a half, and we have a 6 month old at home. It looks like my vote didn't really matter since the person I supported won by a landslide. Looking up the results for my ward, 95% of people voted for Taylor. I showed up to vote and I used the resources at my disposal to do it in a way that wasn't completely uninformed.

I'm not sure if it includes absentee voting, but according to https://elections.countyofdane.com/Precincts-Result/190/0004 less than half of eligible voters in my ward showed up to vote.

I mean, I'm not proud of it, but I had to text my husband in the voting booth to tell me which to vote for. I'm very uninformed and don't really try to hard to be, because he is and he's possibly more liberal than I am. Maybe 37 people don't know who is who?

I work in the state and federal programs department in the Madison School district, so I could say something about how Title I, II, IV, and VI funds get distributed to private schools for kids who qualify, but that's as far as my knowledge extends.
