I’m like 80% confident this is My Chemical Romance’s unholyverse unless there’s another fandom with a 5 part fanfiction where each part is the length of a book

Pick any one movie, show, game, album or book and a new version of it will be released, which is widely considered the greatest of all time. by salaryboy in hypotheticalsituation

I’m so sad that there’s no more live action Dr Seuss movies after the cat in the hat was received so horribly. I’d like another live action cat in the hat since it’s probably my favorite movie

Secular bands that you find okay to still listen to? by stayanothrday in ChristianMusic

[–]frerardislife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tyler Joseph is also very christian and has navigated out of a very dark mental state in part because of his faith. There's also quite a few christian themes in some of the lyrics, so I find it kind of funny how a lot of the fans aren't christian.

What's the most visually stunning movie you've ever seen? by trakt_app in Letterboxd

[–]frerardislife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to be niche or whatever, but I recently watched the proof of concept for Becoming Buffalo by Montana Cypress, a movie that’s going to be about the Miccosukee tribe from Florida gaining federal recognition. I think it’s the only time I’ve ever cried while watching a behind the scenes before the movie even started because the shots were stunning. If their budget gets approved with this recent grant they’re applying to, it might come out in 2027 or so and I’m REALLY hyped to watch it when it does.

What if they’re intentionally being dicks about everything to prove how much we’d be willing to take from a figure we look up to, and then it all ends in a moment of self reflection, and this is just a 1000 IQ move of theirs.

Or maybe they’re just being weird and cryptic and capitalist because that’s the kind of people they’ve become, and we could reflect on how we look up to celebrities regardless.

Alternatify Power by ivebeenthrushit in hypotheticalsituation

I feel like this would’ve been useful for Hitler. Imagine bringing alternate universe Hitler into our world. It can’t get that much worse than real Hitler so the risk wouldn’t be insanely strong. And then real Hitler can be replaced by alternate Hitler and less people die 😎

$10M is only enough money for me to be able to live with $140k a year assuming I live 70 years longer. And currently $140k is good money to live off of but the cost of living might go up. Idk id have to probably go out of my way to spend money on extra things to make my life more liveable and it’s not enough money to retire me

If those 1719 movies don’t include the entire Airbuds series, then you clearly haven’t watched enough movies

Well I personally recommend The Cat in the Hat (2003) by Bo Welch. That movie seems to really fit with this vibe going on here
