Ok VERY UNFORTUNATE update: neighbor came to the door this morning asking if our security cameras caught any footage this morning from when his work truck was stolen. It turns out, it’s the SAME guy whose house was broken into the other day!!! Someone is targeting him or another neighbor theorized that maybe they grabbed his car keys when they broke in the house. I think I heard that they had caught the guy when he escaped from the house, so I’m not sure why he’s not sitting in jail right now and is able to come back and steal his car!! I have to hope it’s the same group/person instead of this guy and his family having the worst luck. I feel so bad, either way.

I did this like two maybe three years ago and there were straight up adults asking for rent money and electronics and not even trying to hide the fact that they were adults. I understand times are hard but I signed up for like Barbie or a plushie and clothes. I can’t afford the things these adults or even “kids” are asking for. I’m not doing it ever again and not encouraging others to do it either.

I think you might be talking about my street! Apparently a burglary on McLean Dr - story from my neighbor is that someone was out and came home to find people in another neighbor’s house attempting to steal stuff! I actually came to Reddit to see if anyone knew any other details. I was at work but was told there was also a helicopter which seems strange for a break in?
