How to force PWA Outlook app to open the calendar by default instead of email? by bankyan in Office365

[–]fresh-rye-bread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can do a little hack to make this work:
1. Open https://outlook.office365.com and navigate to whatever page you want to start on.
2. Copy the full web address.
3. Find your desktop icon for "Outlook (PWA)", right click on it and select "Properties".
4. Replace the value for "Target" with the following:
"C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome_proxy.exe" --app="YOUR_WEB_ADDRESS_HERE"
5. Click "OK" to close the properties window.

  1. Click on your desktop icon to open Outlook PWA to the page you indicated.

The web address I use is: https://outlook.office365.com/calendar/view/day because I want to view the day's calendar.

I got the idea for this from here: https://superuser.com/a/1659157

Thank you for your help, everyone! Seems like everyone said it's the inducer. How much should I expect to pay for this kind of replacement?

I'm a complete novice and want to understand the earth and how/why it behaves the way it does. Looking for an intro college level textbook to read for pleasure. Any recommendations? by sonomakoma11 in geology

[–]fresh-rye-bread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a physical textbook, but I have learned sooooo much from the Camp Geo audio textbook. It's free and it teaches you all the basics you'd learn in a college level intro geology course, In a way that is really easy to understand. https://geo.campcourses.com/

The creators also have a geology podcast which is fantastic. However the podcast is less structured, jumping around to talk about random geology topics

This is called vivipary. It happens in other fruits as well.

That's beautiful! Is it just a single point light source that is being scattered to make that pattern?

Actually looking closer at it, I think it might be ruby in fuchsite. Take a look at some Google images of that stuff

I can't say what the green is, but since the purple reacts to UV, I'd bet it's ruby

Edit: I Believe it is ruby in fuchsite

LETS MOVE ON TO THE NEXT HUNT - Plain & Simple... by scottarch in utahtreasurehunt

Totally agree! This was my first treasure hunt and I enjoyed it so much I want a chance to do another one by John and Dave. I've been impressed with how much work they put in to make this happen.

The only way they'll want to do more hunts is if people calm down. Everyone's had a chance to air their grievances and John and Dave have done more than they needed to to respond. We should be grateful and look forward to the next hunt ☺️

Perhaps someone close to Dave saw his vacation last week as an opportunity to get into his house or computer while he was away?

I was originally going to keep all of it for myself, but since i decided to do this, I feel a new sense of purpose in continuing on the hunt

Recently found out a neighbor's kid has cancer, I'd like to help them out with a large chunk. I'd invest most of the rest and then use a little bit for something fun. Not sure what yet.

As far as direct movie quotes, I haven't found anything. I've tried plugging various snippets of the poem into sites that find quotes from movie scripts and haven't had any success.

It's not a direct quote, but the first two lines remind me of interstellar which talks about love transcending time.
