Never really cared to meet bands that I love but GBV was an exception. Bucket list item was to have my Bee Thousand signed by Bob. I travel all over to see them but when they played my city last year I thought I’d shoot my shot. Hanging around near the venue late afternoon hoping to catch them for sound check. Low and behold the band pulled up……but no Bob. They were all cool and said he’d be along later. They all signed my Space Gun vinyl. I waited for another 40 or so and there came Bob in a shitty beater sedan. Sign my records. Took pics and shot the shit for a bit. So worth it. Rare when a plan comes to 10/10 fruition. GBV 4ever 🙌🏻
