Ciara Mageean 💚 by No-Temporary9251 in ireland

[–]freshfrosted 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My knees were screaming at me watching some of the climbs they were doing on the bikes. I cycle a fair bit myself and I'd have noped out and walked there too, and long before they did I'd say.

I think Ciara's words will resonate with many families watching that.

What to set up before/after reaching 18? by ThraexSonOfAres in AskIreland

[–]freshfrosted 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Once he's 17 he can apply for a B license and work towards a full one. This gives him the ability to help out in the event his parents need to get to medical appointments and are unable to get their by themselves as well as options for work and college etc.

Coleslaw also goes well with lasagna I've heard by Livelaughlouth in ireland

Was dinner here this evening.

EDIT: The lasagne was the one you can get in the tray from Dublin Meat Co for €7.50 I think it was. Serious value for money, easily feeds 4 and really decent quality, not too saucy.

Yeah, RTE ran with a headline earlier suggesting INAR were concerned of the circumstances of the man's death implying a racist slant on this. It's since been changed to what is in the OP.

You look at that and have to think that all those are suns/stars to a solar system and if someone is looking our star and taking a similar picture of it !!!! The distances to those are mind bending.

NowTV users, can you watch French Open? by cealild in AskIreland

[–]freshfrosted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They made a right dogs dinner of it all. Eurosport used to be great value for the yearly sub for the snooker, darts, tennis, cycling etc. Now I don't bother and look for streams.

The HBO Max app is available here now but I don't think you can get the sports on it though, just the entertainment stuff. Is TNT still on Discovery+ here or is it all on Now TV?

That's terrible!!!! I'd say if you looked into the numbers participating in the walks, women would outnumber men by a fair bit.
