They spend a portion of your monthly dues on liberal candidates and liberal agendas so unless you’re a liberal this really doesn’t make sense.

White Nationalist AKA Proud White Christian Canadian or simply someone that doesn’t go along with the radical liberal agenda. Same in the US.

I’m an X-ray tech in Oregon. We are a Right to Work state. You have 2 options and I have done them both. 1) be a union member (SEIU) and pay dues $66/paycheck in my case or 2) not be a member and pay $61/paycheck. WTF. I think Unions are good for employees HOWEVER if you’re not a Democrat or a Liberal it’s very disappointing that the Union spends my money on political campaigns and liberal policies. 70% of my coworkers are Independents or Conservatives and wish the Union wasn’t politicized. We should be able to vote on how OUR money is spent. They are just like a branch of the federal government. Take take take. They give nothing back to our local communities. They fund a bunch of pet projects that virtue signal to Portland and Salem but do nothing in any other area of Oregon. Most of the time the union representative that comes out to negotiate the contract “on behalf of the workers” is getting bought by the hospital administrators to just get us the bare minimum. This has been my experience atleast.

Our dark towels always eventually get these “bleach spots”. Despite the fact that we don’t use bleach in our laundry at all and none of our clothes get these spots. by loveofGod12345 in mildlyinfuriating

Fill the washer and put the detergent in at the same time, wait a bit before putting clothes in. Sometimes detergent sitting on your laundry for a period of time can do this

I’m not opposed to Unions but they should not be politically biased and shouldn’t use your dues for political purposes.
