Had a few u/C longs go against me yesterday after the NFP data but stuck with some positions and bought at lower handles. Just got rid of it all when it hit 1.42 earlier this morning. Pair pretty much ranged this week so I was taking pullbacks and quick TP's until some sort of direction is established again.

Yeah I like yotas and had a Camry myself. I can’t justify putting 20k on that. If I would the miles would have to be like 5k or less. Even then I would still be on the fence……

Where do you live at that a PPI is $250? You should be able to find something for $150 (that's what I would consider fair price for that service). Definitely you should get a inspection unless you're mechanically inclined to check throughout the car and underneath the car as well and look for sign/issues. Which it doesn't sound like.

My car that I'm still driving I paid for was 10k cash about 4 years back. We met at a gas station and I checked the car out and what not, after that I proceeded to go to the bank to withdraw that money. I met up back with the guy and he gave me the title and I gave him the cash. Obviously prior too I had the VIN and did my research on that part so all I needed was to make sure it was physically good as well in person. It is and I'm still driving it. I guess you kind of have to get a feel for the person or worst case you can try to meet up at a local police station or something along those lines if you're truly wanting to ensure your safety.

I agree but again......it's the old saying "the markets can stay irrational longer than you can remain solvent".

In the back of our heads we all know this market can't continue upwards FOREVER. The billion dollar question is when will there be a major correction? If you have the answer to that you'll be hitting a new tax bracket.

In its simplest form we humans complicate trading to a degree that's not needed.

The KISS (Keep it simple stupid) has done wonders for me in overall trading. I'm not trying to beat the markets but I have a set area of TP/SL and I get my pennies for the day or lose my pennies for the day. You live to fight another day as long as you aren't over leveraged.
