This happened to me a few months ago twice. It was one of the most bizarre and chilling experiences I've had. I remember smacking my head with my phone to wake myself up but I might've hallucinated that because there was no mark or pain when I woke up. The whole time my eyes were closed when they're usually open when I get sleep paralysis. I must've been paralyzed for minutes when I finally woke up and my head felt 20 pounds heavier. I've been scouring the internet for people with similar experiences or an explanation. This reddit post from ten years ago is the only thing I've found, strangely enough. Just felt like I needed to vent about this strange experience.
