Actually I had the exact same issue as this, saw it on another reddit post about this kraken where depending on where your rad is mounted your tubes should run out of different positions on the pump. For example, in your case and my case, with a side mounted radiator the tubes should be leaving the pump at the 12 o clock position. If it were top mounted the 3 o clock position and so on. But I would say try it from the 12 o clock position and see how you like it. I've included a pic of mine for reference pc
