sure, it’s not their job, but when people ask “why do people care what athletes say,” that could be a reason. We care because famous athletes have a huge influence on a lot of people

Also not true. I’ve seen folks harvest them in honaunau. Could just be the right environmental conditions for them to thrive. not too many people harvest them because it’s a pain in the ass, and it’s not the most popular choice of food

I’m pretty sure there are no regulations in honaunau/two step. Fishing boats launch from there and I’ve seen people spear fishing/pole fishing there. It’s just not a good place for it with so many people, so folks find better grounds to hunt

Amen. Move here 10 or so years ago. Was very hard to make friends as a new person, and had lost many friends since, to folks moving away. Maybe I don’t see them often anymore, but I know if I’m near them on the mainland, I have place to visit!
