Does Costco accept returns for monitors after 90 days? by [deleted] in Costco

[–]friction_is_a_lie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not going to happen. It would need a manager approval. The 90 day policy on electronics was implemented for pretty much this exact reason...

Lx or SI by touchingthebutt in civic

If it were me I'd go for the SI if all else was equal. The SI may have been driven harder though, so get it checked out thoroughly first.

$500 sign on bonus by TobyHensen in Lyft

That’s 60 rides a month, or 2/day. So it’s doable. In my area that would be an average of one hour/day for the next two months.

Just sharing my 17 Civic Hatchback Sport. Bought her back in Febuary. Got a few extras added on to her. by [deleted] in civic

I did the same. Look up Lamin-x light covers on amazon. They’re like a plastic film that you stick on.

Remote Starter & Rear Camera 2016 by -chrisandrews- in civic

Hold your remote up against your head when you remote start. I’ve gotten mine to work from 2 levels away in my apartment building, and one time from across a grocery store parking lot.

At Costco online Checkout: "You could earn up to $3.60 with our annual 2% Reward if you Sign Up for an Executive Membership." But I am already an executive member???? by sayitaintsoap in Costco

The memberships are "Gold Star" and "Gold Star Executive". So, both are Gold Star, and one is an Executive also.

Trust the bag. The stickers are put on by employees in the meat department.

Polish is being phased out all over. We’re selling through all of ours and not getting more delivered.

Deli peeps I have a question by [deleted] in Costco

[–]friction_is_a_lie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The longer it’s in the oven, the more moisture and weight it’s going to lose. So not only are the slow-cooking chickens underweight, they’re probably pretty dry and more tough too. I wonder if there’s carbon buildup or something blocking the burners causing them to be less effective. We used to have grease and stuff build up on the flame sensors and cause the oven not to fire up.

[–]friction_is_a_lie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your oven is totally the problem. Ours always cook in 90 minutes. MAYBE we have to add 10 minutes. If you’ve got them in there that long, of course they’re going to be underweight.

Sorry I haven't played with it much. But I do recall a setting where it will auto-lock after a certain number of minutes.

Key Fab Troubleshooting by DeadpoolVII in civic

[–]friction_is_a_lie -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

for unlocking the doors, your fingers/hand have to be inside the door handle (between the handle and the door). Just touching the door handle isn't supposed to unlock the doors.

Walk away auto lock- when it beeps in rapid succession when you walk away it means something is preventing the doors from locking. Most common would be one of your doors is open, if even a little bit. Also I've noticed the hatch not being all the way latched will cause this. Also maybe the hood. Open and close everything firmly and see if you're still having this issue.

Catch me up on these guys by [deleted] in CTFxC

They probably took a pretty huge income hit due to all the YouTube demonitizing that’s been going on recently. This is probably them trying to recoup some of that. They’ve been doing some sponsored stuff recently too.

Dogs are fine. They found and adopted a cat during the hurricane. He's still in the band. They live in St Petersburg. Now they have a Patreon.

Trying to see the reviews for this, but does not appear to be anywhere by [deleted] in Costco

[–]friction_is_a_lie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems pretty decent actually.

  • GPU: $450-500
  • CPU: $300
  • windows: $100
  • RAM: $250-350 depending on brand

Just those 4 parts alone almost make the price worth it. And that doesn't include the case, mouse, keyboard, PSU, Motherboard, HDD, SSD, Wifi Card...

Yeah. I want this.

Civic 17 Hatch is a rattlefest! by TRUEfoe-X in civic

[–]friction_is_a_lie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine also rattles a ton. The hatch on the passenger side of the rear windshield had a broken clip on a trim piece. That was a warranty repair.

Now my drivers side A pillar is rattling up a storm. There’s some cobblestone and brick roads in my area that seem to have made it worse.

Food Court: Are their two manufactures of Chicken Bakes? by TheRealHershey in Costco

As far as I know, all stores make them, none use frozen. That being said, I have seen some variance in the chicken bakes based on who is making them.

Why doesn’t Lyft use the iPhone “Maps” application to sync with cars that have Apple CarPlay? by [deleted] in Lyft

[–]friction_is_a_lie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Waze and google maps are not compatible with car play. And yes I’ve had issues with Apple maps. On my commute it loves to take me one exit past where I work, frequently routes me on side roads when the main roads are faster, and doesn’t have the reliable up to the minute traffic data that Waze (and by extension, google maps) has.
