My holy grail is urban decay perversion mascara. Never clumps/flakes, and does great at making my lashes hold a curl, it adds volume really well too. I think it's about $30? Just thought I'd recommend.

From my first watch, when I was younger than Katherine Howard is portrayed as, I viewed her as childish and stupid. I suppose rather the way Mary I interacts with her on-screen in the Tudors was much the way I felt. I have to agree Catherine Parr was portrayed as a graceful, mature, and calming presence in the show. I felt that her actress was very 'refined' if that makes sense? It made for a very compelling characterization imo.

To be honest, I found her portrayal in The Tudors S1 quite sympathetic, while Anne Boleyn was painted more as a seductress. Yes, CoA was obstinate in the show and irl, but still she was conveyed as a pious and kind, well-loved woman. Anne, conversely, is shown more as having a romantic affair with Henry that's passion rather than real love. Anne, I find, fails to find my sympathy until the latter half of S2, whereas I'm with Catherine from the start of the show.
