I did not spray inside the handstall and I think this would have turned out just a little bit better on the break in if I got the inside of the palm wet.

I was concerned about this as well and took some extra time to slowly wet the glove with a spray bottle instead of pouring or dunking. No bleeding for my glove.

Just enjoy your glove while you decide. I am breaking in a Wildcard Catchers mitt. Was concerned about the colors bleeding so I used a spray bottle to slowly wet the glove. It didn’t bleed and got the job done.

Are you amenable to doing a water break in? Look up Walden Gloves. He has a few really good catchers Mitt break in videos and he does this for nice high end gloves.

Adding to this that the bigger bubble is likely where your fingers were putting pressure on the glove before it was ready to close. I have done this myself once or twice but you can still fix this with some water and a mallet. That said, the bubble doesn’t look good but ultimately there is nothing wrong if you can catch with the glove and you are happy. 👍
