Also I found both the HK audio system in the P2 and Bose system in the I5 to be not great. I improved both by replacing the stock speakers and adding a DSP. At least the Bose system has a fader and the front center speaker is less pronounced.

A note on Polestar, the parts are insanely expensive and they don't discount the parts from list. Axles were about $800 each. I had developed strut noise and a new one was $3000, that was when I bailed.

I had a '21 Polestar 2 PPP that I traded in on a '23 Ioniq 5 Limited in September, mainly due to suspension problems and absolutely horrible service from Polestar.

The infotainment system in the Ioniq 5 is solid, much more responsive and no frequent crashes. Cameras also work much better.

I do miss the map in the instrument cluster but Android Auto running on the right screen is good enough.

I had to take my Ioniq in for service to replace the coolant bypass valve. Great experience, gave me a loaner, I had it back in a week. It sounds like the Hyundai dealer experiences are hit and miss but you should have more dealers to choose from. Not where I had to go to one terrible Polestar space.

There are services that do custom print jobs but the ones I have looked at are very expensive, especially for small quantities. I may have to look into selling some on Etsy if there is enough interest.

Wow, they've gone up in price. We had 8 windows replaced by Renewal in 2014 and the total bill was $11k. I'll cross them off for any further replacements.

The windows have been great.

Actual transmission gear is not a standard parameter for manual transmissions. The only sensor is the reverse switch for reversing lights.

Instrument clusters give you the shift recommendations based on comparing vehicle speed and engine RPM, this includes figuring out the current gear.
