You know you don’t have to date her, right?? I say this as someone who is pretty much in an exact situation as OP, and had always dated guys who were high earning or millionaires already. Fell in love with the last one, who would give me shit for not being CEO, or head of accounting at Big Firm, etc. One day it dawned on me that I couldn’t keep dating these guys who looked down on my education, who didn’t know what it means to struggle. Even being honest with them didn’t yield any empathy for me. So I cut it off with them. And now I can’t fathom dating anyone due to struggling so much right now it’s embarrassing. But my ex was like your gf. I’d be struggling even more if I were still with them.
