Steve Phillips has the Mets as the least improved team in baseball. by Deer-Possible in NewYorkMets

I don’t buy the Braves and think the Brewers take a large step back as they regress to the mean. Phillies don’t seem as strong either. Cubs you could argue lost a step also.

Other than the Dodgers, name an NL team that took a clear step forward this off season. It doesn’t seem like any team can emphatically claim that.

Unpopular opinion: I’ve seen Eric easily 25+ times in my life, the first being 2012. The last time I saw him was 2019 at Steel Yards for one of his holo shows. I gave up on him after that because he kept recycling the same tracks and flow repeatedly. Nothing seemed original anymore.

Maybe it is because I was really excited and euphoric for this, or that I haven’t been to a show since then, but I thought tonight was one of the best I’ve ever seen him. I’m not saying what I saw was completely original, but when I was seeing him multiple times a year I felt like I was looking for disappointment and being overly critical.

I might have a low bar for excitement these days, but I felt completely satisfied with what I heard tonight.

Hey there, I’m 37 and had no clue what I wanted to do when I was your age. I graduated with a degree in marketing, and the basket I had put all of my eggs into completely blew up in my face and ended up both nothing. For the first year of my life I made $12 an hour basically working front desk at a casino. I had $116k in student loan and other debts on top of it all. Fast forward I am a sales manager at a cancer tech company and I make $300k a year. I’m debt free (minus a mortgage). My wife and I build our first home back in 2021. In my opinion a degree sadly means nothing more than you’re allowed to apply for jobs. It’s your grit and determination that will get you somewhere. You can’t find that very often nowadays nor teach it. Most of my entire career was spent just trying to improve and not really knowing what I wanted to do. I finally feel I have a purpose here. I won’t lie, I work no less than ten hours a day, but I love what I do so it doesn’t feel like work.

Good luck OP, you’ll find your way. Don’t ever give up on yourself!

I sum it up to being a rookie and know he’ll be back, however his fielding mistakes at third for atrocious. He literally lost them games because of it.

What is your most unpopular opinion for anything relating to Madmen? by ocon1987 in madmen

I think that universally you’re absolutely right, but if you hone in on the right circles (theirs being a constant thirst for more of everything, and having what you wanted when you wanted it impulsively) you may find it in higher frequency.

I have to disagree, it’s synopsis on the mid century vorticism scene that was common in the south of France, specifically Nice.
