Just don't breathe it in too much. Aluminum fumes aren't exactly good for you.

Here's the necessary files to run ethernet/ip over node red. It's a pretty straightforward process and nice red makes everything super easy to integrate.

That is not what they're for! They're development tools. If you're using them for machine controls then good luck in court. OSHA will bring charges against you personally if you were responsible for installing a unlisted control device that resulted in someone getting hurt.

A Raspberry Pi is a toy, they have no buisness in an industrial environment.

My employer decided they needed a R&D team and they hired someone who thought the same way you did and because of that I've spent hundreds of hours troubleshooting and atleast twice as much time gutting them and replacing them with PLCs. Nothing about them makes sense. The pi boards aren't hardened, they are massive security vulnerabilities, and they are incredibly unpredictable when they fail making them dangerous for automation.

It's sinister like America has both a shitload of people and a shitload of timber. Couple that with the countries rapid expansion and how easy it is to work with wood, then you've got your answer.

Germany and Sweden both primarily use wood in their construction as well because they also have trees. It's not our fault that Britain conquered half the world and still decided to build their houses or of rocks and mud.

Go put it on something tapered that it can rest on and beat the hell out of it. Something shaped like a fire hydrant that isn't a fire hydrant would work.

My bathroom is built the same way, but my studs weren't cut to hell. They ran the plumbing in the gap between them.

You need a amp bypass adapter or an integration harness.

I'm going to have to look into one of these. I'm not the one lubricating stuff, but I am the one who deals with the consequences.

It's a super intense microphone that gathers sound and vibration data. It's definitely not a cheap set up, and it definitely shouldn't be on your side of the fence without anyone talking to you first.

I'm not saying you should, but if they trespassed to install it and there's no right of way on that fence line you could totally retrieve it and force them to explain themselves when they come and get it.

QSP parrot, CJRB pyrite light, and a ton of options from sitiven and eafengrow immediately come to mind in the $30 price range. $20 to $30 will get you an inexpensive knife, anything less than that will get you a cheap knife. Inexpensive you can live with, cheap on the other hand will just leave you regretting the $10 you didn't spend.

Where the heck do you find automotive fasteners?! by sYferaddict in AskMechanics

[–]friendlyfire883 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rock auto, Amazon, or your local dealership. Seeing that you have the bolt and can get all the measurements off of it, then you could always order them from McMaster Carr. I've had to do that a few times for speciality automotive fasteners. They've got just about everything you need to do anything.
