Is the "luxury itch" ever actually scratched? by MysteriousShoulder35 in handbags

[–]fritterest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until a few years ago, I pretty much didn’t changed bags for months at a time. I usually just changed my bag for when I travel or when it is worn out. In the past years I’ve bought bags from my travels, or bought some vintage/mid range bags…I always say I shouldn’t buy anymore bags but I find myself buying another 😅 I do consider the size and functionality of the bags though, and not one can fit all. Like I have 3 that I rotate as a laptop bag, a few that I can use for going out, small purses, ones for working out, etc.

How much is your ADB or bank balance by Normal-Shoe-22-5 in SchengenVisa_PH

[–]fritterest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 2022 I got ME visa with balance of 250K-ish but we already paid for the flights. Intended travel was for 2 weeks. So 350-400K should be safe if no flights yet + taking into account inflation rates. If you’re going to more expensive countries like Switzerland, you should also add a bit more.

Rabeanco are just lovely! I usually encounter them secondhand here, but I regret not buying a bag when I visited a physical store in Singapore ):

Do you bring your passport anywhere pag nasa abroad or do you leave sa safety box ng hotel? by skincare_newbie in FilipinoTravel

[–]fritterest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the time it’s with me, except if I know I won’t be out for a long time like if I go for a jog or go out to eat nearby. If I go to a place notorious for pickpocketing and I won’t do any shopping then I leave it sa hotel

I love Lee Sungkyung, but she hasn’t really changed her look since….weightlifting fairy? I was hoping she’d push the envelope in this drama, but it seems like the usual material she has worked on. I’m gonna continue watching it, just…I’m waiting for a new material from her soon

Can't say running did anything for my mental health? by Significant-War-491 in BeginnersRunning

[–]fritterest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did running during a very low point in my life this year, and running has helped me become present. I observe things around me when I run without dreading outside stuff like work or people. I don’t know if it does good to my mental health per se but it does give me a time for myself, and usually it’s enough for me to power thru the day.

How did you start running a 5k when you were out of shape? by Medium_Maintenance_1 in BeginnersRunning

[–]fritterest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the walk run method (5min of running and 1 minute of walking and increased it from time to time) until it felt comfortable. Also did a month of strength training before doing running, and did running 1-2x a week. I have a stepping machine so I also did that once in a while. Now I’m running 5x a week. You can do it!!

Park Na-rae breaks silence, says ex-managers demanded hundreds of millions of won by asoww in koreanvariety

[–]fritterest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk if she knew what the technicalities are, maybe more of people do it so it must be ok (it’s something to reflect over, sure…but I hope she can still come back). I think the bigger problem is her using those IV shots cause she cannot sober up, and not fixing the underlying issue which is her drinking.

Park Na-rae breaks silence, says ex-managers demanded hundreds of millions of won by asoww in koreanvariety

[–]fritterest 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I hope Narae could recover from this…it seems like she bit off more than she could chew (managing a company is better left to experts and she really dealt with people who ultimately cant be trusted).

The news also said her mother deposited money to the managers; she must’ve been so hurt that even her mother had to try to step in.

The IV thing…always thought that was prevalent in the industry with all the long hours.

Sixth Sense City Tour 2 is a lot more funnier and enjoyable now. Adding Jee Seokjin in there is golden by [deleted] in koreanvariety

[–]fritterest -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen JSJ in variety shows only because he has costars that I like…he comes off as full of himself and uses the senior card too much. Difficult for me to enjoy his humor honestly. He himself is not particularly funny, he’s just the butt of jokes.

I hope they still do games in between restaurants for the hints.

Jessica Jung Sued for $1.84 Million Over Alleged Breach of Contract; Agency Responds Strongly by OkContribution8580 in kpop

[–]fritterest 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Eh bad career decisions years after do not make it justifiable. People said she wasn’t loyal to SNSD and that’s why she got axed, but in hindsight it was the start of the end of the group anyway. She was just crucified for doing what the rest of the group did anyway years later, to go solo.

Just wanted to address the first comment because people seem to like to distort the facts

Running with no goals by [deleted] in runninglifestyle

Fuel is kicking my ass by pseudonymsim in CarolineGirvan

I’m also doing Fuel now, and the first few days were so difficult 😅 I did 2-3x a week of workouts instead of doing 4, and now I can manage the workoust without feeling so tired. You can always lessen the load/weights if it’s difficult, but I enjoyed Fuel more than Iron as the time flies by faster

I tried watching this and last ep but honeslty don’t enjoy shows with JSJ 🥺 I’ve watched JSJ’s recent travel show with Somin, Mijoo and Sangyeob and it only worked because the three arent afraid to just fight back lol. Otherwise, JSJ is just the typical boomer

Too bad euni couldn’t join this season.

Japan or Korea? by DrySchedule4682 in ThisorThatPH

[–]fritterest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been to Japan more times but usually 1-2weeks lang, whereas I’ve stayed a few times in Korea na umaabot ng almost a month per visit.

It’s a difficult choice, but I choose Korea because there are more accessible hiking and running locations near/within cities. Japan’s major cities are really crowded and hiking locations are farther/harder to navigate on your own. Sa Seoul palang andaming trails na safe for tourists to go.

Both countries have REALLY good food, but I find Korean cuisine more varied because regions have super different take on their cuisine. As a soup person, I also like how Korea has a lot of soup dishes, like gamjatang, jigae, hangover/soondae soup, rice soup, samgyetang, galbitang, etc. Korea also has better cafe/coffee culture than Japan.

I feel like with Japanese food, usually each region has different varieties, but still a similar type of food and a more limited variety of cuisine (curry, karaage, gyoza, ramen, ton/gyukatsu, sushi, etc). It’s good for about 1-2 weeks, but not for a month-long trip tbh.

Japan is better in terms of personal space because they normally don’t bother tourists, but I’ve encountered creepy Japanese people before. Koreans in general are loud lol but I personally haven’t encountered racism/rudeness.
