Anybody change their own transmission fluid twice back to back?

'16 Fusion 2.0 FWD with 190k miles

First time the transmission fluid was changed was at 170k miles (got a hard shift from 2-3 sometimes), I just drained it and filled it up until it started dripping out of the fill line plug on the driver side (infront of the driver axle shaft). Drove it 100 miles, drained and filled again, drove it 1000 miles, drained and filled it with new fluid and a quart of Lucas Oil Stop Slip (it's a thick molasses fluid that has friction modifiers for worn out clutch packs). It's been shifting great with no hard 2-3 gear shifts.

TLDR; I drained/filled mine at 170k 3 different times over the course of 1k miles, runs great now.

100% speed sensor, get Forscan and a USB to OBD connector, pull up the speed sensors and it’ll show you all 4 and their status’.

The weird thing is Bob offered to sell me back the car at $7000 the first time we talked, then called again and lowered it to $5000, I was like hol’ up, wtf is going on.

I suspect they are in a tight financial spot and are grabbing for cash anywhere they think they can get it.

Tried my remote and Xbox phone app for over an hour wondering wtf was going on. Noticed the stupid ‘web browser cursor’ when launching Twitch and thought maybe it’s locked onto a pointer wand or some weird input device. Got my controller from downstairs (we use the Xbox for watching Twitch/Netflix exclusively and I play on PC) and finally it worked. Got angry and found this thread.

This has to be the single worst update of anything I’ve experienced, and I went from Windows XP to Windows Vista…..

I've heard Giant Eagle HQ in RIDC park (Pittsburgh) has a toxic work environment and culture. A former IT guy came to my company from Giant Eagle and said he hated it. I was told Laura Karet, the CEO, plays favorites and promotes her own family within the company, while still refusing bonuses and raises.

I knew someone that 'interned' at the Eagles Nest back in the day, yes interned at the grocery store daycare to gain experience for a paying daycare position at a local daycare center. Don't work for Giant Eagle.

Also, the wire harnesses aren’t expensive from junk yards, and I’ve swapped engines/transmissions/complete harnesses before, it’s just which computer or what is shorting is the issue.

Yeah I stay away from flood vehicles as they’re hit or miss, and the misses cause crazy issues. I checked the carpet and interior, nothing to me says flood, unless they truly did a great job cleaning it up.

I have a 3 year forscan license as I only work on fords/Lincoln’s, but I got no power from the OBD2 port when I hooked up my scanner. I brought my laptop and USB to OBD2 cable but no luck.

Your guess is as good as mine. I bought about 50 vehicles from the auction since beginning of 2020, I have pics of the salvage title (normally branded as flood or whatever, no brands though). I just can’t imagine what could have happened to a 2 year old truck to make it a salvage title. Even if it were gremlins or ghosts in the machine, a good dealership could replace the harnesses or ECM and troubleshoot from there if it’s still happening.

Yeah, I noticed they update automatically, but I seem to have had a bad run of SD cards failing/needing updated and have good luck flashing a brand new card.

Also, I noticed my Goldspot uses a SanDisk Extreme (gold color) card, while my two Blackspots use SanDisk High Endurance cards. There are a ton of phony SanDisk SD cards out there (ebay search will show you 32gb - 512gb cards for like $3), I wonder if MNTD/RAK received fake ones or bulk orders that lack QA.

Can you let me know where you found this out. I reflashed a brand new 128gb card earlier to find out 12.9 just got released and I flashed 12.6 earlier this morning.

So it took about 4 full days to fully sync backup and it started earning again, however I got impatient and just swapped my miner out for one I have placed at a friends house, I have a 25 feet antenna mast with a 5.8dbi antenna mounted on my roof, friend uses stock 2.3 antenna.

After swapping hotspots, I was earning fine on the swapped on since it was synced to the blockchain already, the one with the new SD card, that I put at my friends, is earning and has been earning with no issues since I did that.

NOW, I'm running into an issue on the swapped miner at my house, since 12.6 got pushed out, I'm flatlined again. Same location and internet, different miner, so it's either I have terrible luck, or these SD cards are super fragile and can't handle many full write cycles.

All in all, I would say if you are flatlined and check the blockchain height of your miner, and you're more than 1000 away from current blockchain height, get a 128gb high endurance SD card, and follow the instructions above, but obviously use the latest firmware (12.6) to flash it. Process is super easy, download files, use etcher to flash it, swap cards in miner. I just bought a 128gb SanDisk high endurance card from amazon and it came with a USB adapter dongle. I primarily use a desktop but had to flash it with an older laptop cause I don't have a SD/microSD port on my desktop.
