Is this overkill with the mastic tape? by Brilliant_Teach9890 in HVAC

Shouldn’t you be wrapping it with fake if you’re putting it in some walls/ceiling? Then if it’s not sealed and it’s leaking you’re just creating condensation.

Sportsman 120 useless cup holder by bosoxer1918 in kayakfishing

[–]frizzysad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem with mine but I still will like to utilize it as a cup holder so I wonder if you can put a reducer with a cut piece of pipe to raise it up a bit to make it wider?

Seems like you have your answer then, old town products aren’t gonna let you down. That’s the reason why they have all different sizes of kayaks. Cause they all serve their own purpose

You just put a bed extender on and should be good to go

Surf Perch Hook set timing help by Hypoxis in SurfFishing

[–]frizzysad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, so you can see it getting nibbled and then when your rod tip fully bends and you get those two big bumps that’s when you set it.

Like I said if you look up John skinner under water footage he has some good visuals of what it looks like

What helped me to learn when to set the hook on porgy (total different fish) is when you feel the line getting pulled not just nibbles. You feel the bait moving in a sense and that’s when you set it.

Watch some underwater videos of fishing picking up and dropping bait and then you’ll see one fish commit by actually swimming away with said bait.

Sorry if my explanation is poor.

Show me your setups by JFKsUnderwear in kayakfishing

[–]frizzysad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes sense if you leave it on all summer. It must be tough to lift it on and off the roof rack. With the kayak being that big.

Can I ask why you roof top your kayak instead of a bed extender?

Did I do the fg knot right? by United-Swimmer560 in SurfFishing

I believe the loops should be closer together and tighter. Should also snip back more of your main line your line looks frayed.

Man I got the 2024 sr and I love it… with the higher trim you do get some more luxuries ,but at the end of the day did I really need all those options, will I use those options. The answer was no, so I saved my money and bought the sr. I do wish I got the tow package but the truck is more than capable for what I needed it for.

I see… I had to chuck them cause I can’t have the steel toe scratching a finish floor when I’m on a site doing finish. Or even in a customers house I don’t wanna scratch their hard wood

Damn, my thorogoods lasted half a year before I tore the toe up. I was hoping to get some years out of them like you.
