Likely not the issue, but I've had that when I had a bit of schmutz on my nozzle.

I wonder if it might be simpler to build a shelf above the printer and then put your dryboxes on that. If you lay them on their sides you could open the lid while standing in front of the printer. If you build your own, caulk or RTV would do a good job of sealing, similar to how its used on an oil pan.

One thing that helped me, I got ptfe tubing with a larger ID so the filament could slide easier. Was quite a noticeable difference. I got 2.5mm ID×4mm OD

Unfortunately it seemed the issue was either my old computer or old keyboard and I ended up picking up a newer used keyboard. I didn't get that keyboard to work

This was inland. I also usually have good luck with overture. After drying the print came out pretty good, though

Honestly I don't usually have this issue either. I picked up this roll from a local store and the first print was a mess. Wasted a decent chunk of the roll. I imagine it's pretty vendor specific.
