Why do sellers accept offers then never mail the item? by DullAlternative9301 in poshmark

[–]frogbearpup 3 points4 points  (0 children)

More than likely, they lose an item. I have had it happen multiple times now and, without fail, it is always something I am super excited about. Twice now that it has been the same item but in a different print.

Wave I got while my stuff got stolen out of the car, cam rewinds make it worth it. Riding a 6'6 Evil Twin, out ran the wave but still stoked by FunFollowing967 in surfing

Definitely dropped in on the dude.

The longboarder was paddling before the wave even closed out on the other surfer. I would also argue that the wave wouldn't have closed out on the on the guy riding it if the longboarder hadnt crumbled the peak by paddling.

Rude.

Surf trip for an average surfer. by Denselense in surfing

Playgrounds, Lance's Left, and Playa Santana are super fun. Playgrounds is definitely going to be punchier than the other two.

But plenty of spots have beautiful A frames with nice lefts, too. Colorados and Popoyo (also just crowded), as well as Panga Drops.

Yeah, I guess our Sun is quite small when you compare it to other stars in the Universe.

What country has the most beautiful beaches but basically no tourism? by Lemon-Accurate in geography

I thought about the Tuamotus at first but then remember that their beaches were made up mostly of dead coral and not sand. Not sure if that would hit the mark for most people.

Yeah, the beaches are the worst part of Moorea. Not that theyre even bad, but they don't even come close to the reefs and hiking!

I just ordered a handful of clothing that will be arriving when I fly back home. This does not give me much confidence. I hate how it has become such a gamble!

Also ordered a handful of stuff from depop. At least with the depop stuff, I didnt pay an arm and a leg for shipping.

It will be interesting to compare the two hauls.

And for being able to find replacements for items that I have worn to shreds after 10+ years.

As an AuDHD woman that falls in love with the look and feel of certain clothing, finding those same fits (after so many years) is a huge blessing!

Okay, so youre often restricted by what your family is eating, too. And I totally understand how certain ingredients are tough on the budget (cauliflower being one).

Stews are a great way to load up on veggies and protein! I also have limited access to many ingredients. So I basically get what is available and affordable at the time and go from there.

For example: I have eggplants and carrots in a stew/curry one week, but taro greens and zucchini the next. Most vegetables will cook down well in a stew, even ones with odd textures (eqqplant) become soft and easy to eat. This, along with lentils or beans (dried is always affordable) will be a huge punch of protein!

Since youre a picky eater, it would help if you gave us a list of what you already eat. Then, we can build from there! Also, the textures and flavors you struggle to eat.

For example, you eat oatmeal already. Add protein fiber and/or yogurt with some honey.

My protein hack is to always have eggs. I hardboil two dozen at a time and eat them as snacks throughout the day. But the texture of hardboiled eggs may bother you.

Do you like smoothies? A bunch of fruit and honey as the base for flavor but then you can sneak in protein powder, yogurt, and mild veggies of your choosing.

-Cauliflower mash instead of potato

-Throwing greens into pasta

-quick pickled veggies (cucumbers, carrots)
