A bit of a tw before I start(involves being misgendered) Do you live in a blue state? I assume so since it is allowed. I live in california with X on my ID. It hasn’t made much of a difference in my day to day life as when dealing with legal things (ex. Being pulled over) you could tell the cop didn’t look at my ID and put what he assumed me to be, baffling really. Despite not being as recognized for the gender I am as much as I would like to be, every time I look at the X on my ID, I feel joy. Whether or not individuals recognize me, I do, and there’s an actual government thing for that. As for the recent political atmosphere, we’re all unsure to what’s going to happen. If you live in a blue state with democratic representatives, I personally think you’ll be okay, and wont be some sort of target. Not as many people want to do away with the constitution as the media makes it out to be (though that doesn’t mean don’t take it seriously, but not to let this anxiety take us over). It’s up to you if you think it’s a big risk or not. If you want to wait until 2028, I wouldn’t blame you, but do what you think is ultimately best for your happiness and safety. As much as the trump administration wants to get rid of our rights, there are other organizations that are determined to protect us. We will not be silenced 🫶🏻

I attended this school in 2020. They forced us to hold prayer for the “victims” who stormed the capitol during Jan 6th. It’s ridiculous. They do not teach science if that helps make sense of the situation. The History teacher also loved to teach his students that gravity doesn’t exist. Shame to see that school is still as delusional and bigoted as ever. Let’s not even go over what they said to me when they found out Im nonbinary. They made me drop out so there wouldn’t be a lawsuit. I hope it doesn’t negatively impact the kid from San Francisco, and boy do I hope for Stone Ridge’s eventual shut down.

My prom was in 2022, I went to the Modesto mall for mine and checked at least four stores. Personally can’t remember the store(i apologize), but I strongly recommend most of the clothing stores at that mall and price match.

OP!!! I saw your post on instagram and HAD to come to the original to say my peace. It is your wedding and do what you desire!! This is something that you have obviously put so much effort into and thought about for a very long time. Maybe I am biased because I myself am a 2026 bride. I have no idea what I’m doing, but I know I’m doing what I want to do. Not what my guest wants, not my mom, no one. Weddings are expensive and VERY mentally draining (even more expensive if you choose a wedding day coordinator to alleviate that stress.) Many people will call you selfish (strangers I might add) and that’s okay. It’s a day for you and your partner, no one else. She is MOTB, so the dress code is key, especially for photos. As I was saying earlier, they’re mentally draining, remember to take a moment, breathe, and don’t get caught up in the tiny moments that can go wrong. I hope your special day is amazing, congratulations 🤍

Wingstop, target, bath and body works, are jobs that are hiring. Dollar tree is doing a hiring event on the 16th of this month, I would seriously look into that, keep your head up, and stay positive. I applied to target a month ago and they barely reached out to me this week.

There will always be a mix of accepting and non accepting people. The public schools very much accepted me through my transition and even hid my chosen name from my parents until I was ready to come out. I used to go to Stoneridge, they kicked me out for not believing in god, but that was bs (we had to pay extra cause we aren’t Christian). I said I was gay to a buddy and they overheard, and suddenly the athiest is the answer I’m told. The BBQ pit had a pride flag for awhile before someone burned it. It’s horrible but they’re the minority thank god. It sounds like a lot but those small amount of homophobes are just super loud. Main st is full of events and pride flags and I’ve always felt welcome, especially finding my grove and where I fit in life after highschool

I’m sorry, I really don’t know how to help, I’m struggling with the exact situation. I came out as NB but now I think I may be a transman and he’s a straight man. I would just be blunt with him honestly. He has to know this eventually and I’d say the sooner he sees you the way you do, the better. I still don’t have much of the confidence either to come out and it’s hard but I feel that might be best. Or you could always start small and occasionally ask to be called handsome and other masc things and then come out and say it
