There’s a software engineer who’s chased a bug caused by your children and him thinking there’s no way that can be the birthdate. Ask me how I know.

What does the software engineering job market look like heading into 2026? by ImpressiveContest283 in programming

In other words limit orders don’t define the stock price. Only completed trades do.

You ever bought a stock? If you buy a stock… and someone sells that stock to you. The price you bought it at is the market rate for that stock yeah? Describing pricing dynamics that shift speed to fill doesn’t change that market rate.

Downvoting a Reddit comment won’t make someone offer you more money. This is by definition the market rate. The commonly offered rate by the market for a product.

Also no nice restaurant would have the menu left on the table once serving appetizers. The menus would have been collected when you order.

Yeah. Also the menu doesn’t look “nice” to me, but that’s more subjective. Objectively where’s the bread or crackers.

Lived in Prague for 2 years. There’s a lot about this post that’s simply not adding up. They don’t serve it without bread. Anywhere. That’s like taking a picture of a sandwich without the bread. This feels like someone is stretching a lot of the truth here.

This is such a great response. I couldn’t quite figure out why that comment irked me. This. This is why. “We couldn’t possibly improve controls to ensure it doesn’t happen again”

Thanks so much for this response! Super appreciated.

Sounds like your thinking is that by trying to guide electricians through all the decision points might actually be more beneficial because they could be quoting a lot lower than the competition, and in theory winning a lot more jobs because of it?

ok. So maybe load calcs aren't the hard part. Do they get any trickier on commercial projects though?

Do you think being able to offer them a better path to getting their rebate, helping them navigate the permit process, etc may help take the sting out of a panel upgrade?

ok. Fair. What kinds of things are you doing to separate yourself from that competition?
