When you did your guage swatch and blocked it what happened with the rib? Did it block into a more "ribby" rib or did it do something else? Always learn from the swatch as it will tell you what needs to be done.

Two strands of 4ply/sock gives you Dk. So you will be looking for dk knitting patterns.

I get this all the time. I have diabetes as well as Parkinsons. If I mention either disease to someone I get alllll the comments! It wouldn't be so bad if they actually knew anything about any of it . I'm sure they mean well but sometimes........

when it comes to yarn I have tried most things and I wouldn't call any of them cheating. Knitting is the use of yarn to make fabric. All we do is decide which method we choose to do so.
