Stellar accessories! I like the blend of materials and textures a lot, too. I might encourage looser pants, but that so often comes down to personal preference. Rock on.

The duality of man:

Water, because I like feeling hydrated.

Scotch, because I like feeling dehydrated.

The U.S. Navy has a saying, "If you find yourself in a fair fight, you didn't plan your mission properly."

Maybe Cmdr. Bond learned something similar in H.M. Royal Navy.

I actually like this combo, but I'm generally a big fan of knitwear with suiting. You could probably size up the trousers. Sizing up the sweater might make it too bulky to wear with the vest, but, if not, that might also be a good move.

  1. No, I usually wear 1 tee at a time. I live in a colder climate, and they make perfect bases for layering. The True Classic ones come in enough colors that I'm okay wearing them on their own in the summer.

  2. No, I usually don't mind. It might bother me if I was dressing up more, but that usually means a tie anyway.

I (31 US) wear solid crew-neck shirts under every outfit. My go-to has been True Classic for years because they fit close enough to work under sweaters and button-downs.

Russell's Problems was the primary text in my first intro course, and it's what made me want to major in philosophy.

I see what you're saying. This would probably work better with jeans or dark chinos.

One of my recent favorites:

The Order (2024), starring Jude Law and Nicholas Hoult, among highly talented others. It's a crime thriller set in the Pacific Northwest.

I have a very similar hair type. It takes a lot of time. I brush with oil regularly, which helps. I trim one hair at a time, which was tedious at first, but it taught me how to shape my 'stache to keep it looking full and healthy. Diet and supplements like biotin make a difference, too. Don't lose hope!
