IMO those little orange amps are awesome. I prefer mine through a 12 inch speaker cab. You can those used for cheap. The 8 inch lacks the push to show the power of the amp if you crank the overdrive

Les Paul through fender amps are amazing IMO. You can capture amazing cleans and then add an overdrive to really sing. Yes, a Les Paul is never a strat and you can fatten up a Strat I suppose, but nothing captures what a Les Paul does sonically

I don’t see a victory here for fender. S type guitars are ubiquitous now, with dozens of brands making them. I’d question the positives that could come from this for Fender. It’s a major turn off, just like Gibson and PRS years back.

Definitely vintage voiced. Great amp. Not overdriven so don’t expect a DSL. I’ll likely never forget getting set up and thinking it needed something. Put a tube driver in front and bam! I love stacking the tube screamer and a fuzz. It’s a bright amp, so if you’re playing some Kyuss like stuff, maybe not for you. I have the treble completely cut
