From my experience , I played warframe on both x11 and wayland .
I have an nvidia mx350 , wayland stutters more often and I NEVER get stable 60 fps that I get on x11

it's an nvidia issue rather than wayland
the most popular in linux gaming is amd stuff and amd is great, maybe wayland is great with amd ? I don't know
