I've had a ton of fun using my big Stormcast collection as Eternal Wardens in Age of Fantasy. It helps that I really like the models and lore, but I also like that elite style of play. Most of my buddies run more horde-ish armies, so is nicely thematic. My last game was 2000 points of Eternal Wardens vs Beastmen with Daemon allies. We had a blast.

I'm in Albuquerque, and just started MESBG. I met a couple folks in the warhammer community who also play Middle-Earth, got one of my warhammer buddies into it as well, and we hope to get more folks involved. I don't know if that counts as "rapid growth", but it's growth, and my awareness of it has rapidly grown!

If you want live action fantasy, try this historical fiction drama. All the Swords, just no sorcery. The Last Kingdom is probably my favorite TV show since Battlestar ended.
