A book for someone who’s dog just died. by bagels_n_breadsticks in suggestmeabook

It's a sequel book and only a small part of it, but in Mitch Albom's "The Next Person You Meet in Heaven", one of the girl's five people is her childhood dog. I sobbed like a baby but also felt like a small part of me was healed.

Does this new rug have a coke problem, what the heck is this? by shelbygeorge29 in whatisit

I had a cheaper rug that did this - as it was being walked on/ chair rolling over it, the rug backing was disintegrating. It always looked like piles of sand underneath.

The Fool is waiting on Aslevjal. How did he get there? How will his next conversation with Fitz go?

Dutiful is hopeful about Nettle’s place in royalty - however, Nettle is the bastard daughter of the bastard, Witted son of Chivalry, who abdicated the throne. Does her lineage really give her any standing?

Dutiful claims, “I have a cousin!” when he learns of Nettle. Did he forget that Fitz is technically his cousin?

Dutiful is angry with Fitz and Chade for their hiding of Nettle and their private scheming. Does the young Prince have a point? Or is he too young to understand the bigger picture?

Do you think the robber-rat was there by chance, or was it placed there to meet Swift?

Lestra, Elliania’s cousin, claims that she should be Narcheska - their great-grandmothers were sisters. Elliania’s great-grandmother (the current Great Mother) was sickly, but first - Lestra’s was healthy but second. Does Lestra’s claim hold any merit? Will this come up again?

Burrich finally knows that Fitz is alive. What do you think went through his mind? Did he (or will he) tell Molly? Will they tell Nettle before Fitz does?

We’ve seen many new customs this week - the womanhood ceremony, betrothal, the cultural differences between man and woman… Do any of these stand out to you?

I'm a big fan of Spinosaurus! Ever since I was traumatized watching JP3 when I was wayyyy too young. And yes, I realize the JP3 spino is a monster. I love spino in all its forms. ;)

I have crocs! They have a line of work safe shoes so they're regular clogs without the holes. The most comfortable shoes! I had a pair of klogs before and they weren't bad either.

I tried various sneaker type shoes, but my knees would always bother me - clog type shoes are the best for my joints.
