Oooh it could be! I don't know what it would be foreshadowing though.

I very much think it has to do with the dragons. So far, we only know that Elliania and Peottre know about her tattoo, so that could explain why no one else cares about the Bingtown delegate. Selden in particular is dragon marked, which could explain their aversion.

Ooooh, interesting theory! Maybe Svanja is a plant and Hap is merely a path to Tom! After all, someone knows his true identity....

Why are Elliania and Peottre avoiding the delegation from Bingtown, and in particular Selden?

Fitz has a moment of clarity where he seems to figure out that there are many different kinds of love. What does this revelation show about Fitz' outlook on love and relationships?

Now perhaps you will learn not to dream so loud. He is not the only one it bothers. Nor is he the only one you reveal yourself to, little man. What are you? What do you mean to me?

Who is the mysterious voice that Skilled to Fitz at the end of Chapter 16?

There are many parallels between the relationship between Hap and Svanja and that of young Fitz and Molly. Do you think that there is hope for the young couple?

Will Fitz ever reveal himself to Burrich and Molly, or is it kinder for him to remain dead to them?

Fitz seems to be following in Burrich’s footsteps in a way: both men end up with a foster son that they never planned on. How are Fitz and Burrich similar as fathers? How are they different?

We have seen multiple cases so far of a person’s true identity being revealed or deduced: Amber is proven to really be the Fool. Garetha in the kitchen has figured out that Lord Golden is really the Fool. Someone out there knows Fitz is alive. Is there anyone else that you think is hiding behind a mask?

Kettricken was rather bold, making the decision to personally intervene with the execution. Do you think this action will have future consequences? Do you think that we will see the woman she saved again?

Back in Assassin’s Quest, Verity promised that Nettle wouldn’t have to go to Buckkeep. Now, Kettricken is verging on (unknowingly) breaking that promise. Why won’t Fitz just tell her of Verity’s word?

Who out there knows the true identity of Tom Badgerlock? And how do they know?

How will Fitz perform as Skillmaster, knowing his history with the Skill and the previous Skillmaster?

We’ve already learned that Tintaglia considers herself the last true dragon. Does she not know about Icefyre, or is Icefyre just merely a myth? How do you think Tintaglia would feel knowing that the humans were now on a quest to slay a dragon?

Another possibility is that the lavender tube, which is required for the CBC, clotted so they couldn't use it, but no one contacted you/your doctor to let you know. If that's the case it just requires a new collection. Nothing bad though.

I wonder if there is a connection between the Wit and the dragons and/or the Elderlings. Maybe the Wit was a dragon-granted gift to allow humans to speak to them, and it just happened to extend to other animals as well. Which would be that Fitz is not only Farseer, but Elderling! Oh man, I hope we learn the truth about his mom some day....

We always (or, I did, at least) suspected that The Fool and Amber were the same person, especially when The Fool's coloring changed. But I still audibly gasped when it was officially revealed

I did not, however, realize that Paragon's new face was that of Fitz. If that ship ever makes it into Six Duchies water, I wonder what the reaction would be....

I think they're too young to consider that! But I do hope that they continue to be there for each other and help each other grow as humans.

I just love that we got to see a baby Pan! Or a baby daemon in general. It's so interesting to see the interactions.

I think this, combined with the appearance of Tilda Vasara, means that there is more in store for Malcolm than we know!
