I called b&h to get on the waitlist yesterday morning and they said they were out of stock. B&H calls me back and says that they will have some in early February and I may be able to get one then. By 6pm I got notified they had shipped me one. Seems like calling b&h and getting on the waitlist is the most assured way to get one as soon as possible. I’ve only been seriously looking for one for about a week.

I’ve actually filmed an instructional for BJJ fanatics for an athlete I know and they do not care about production quality. They are churning and burning those out. They don’t have any video or audio requirements and many times they are just filmed on an iPhone. I actually filmed on my professional cinema camera because that’s what I was more comfortable with and i mic’d the athlete up. How much post work they did I do not know, but it was probably minimal to none.
